Alongside being a self-taught writer and editor for almost a decade, I completed my undergraduate education in creative writing and comparative world literature at California State University, Long Beach. With a diverse learning background I'm excited to help other writers bring their stories to life!

My rates are balanced between affordability and commitment to select projects at a time. Low-income/marginalized writers are especially considered when determining equitable costs. If there are concerns about payments, please feel free to contact me.

Editing novels & short stories

One of the best parts about being a book-dragon is, well, helping writers improve (while reading books)! I've always enjoyed supporting my friends and students as a mentor, helping them improve their writing skills and provoking their innovative ideas. I'd love to help you too!

Proofreading: $0.01/word = $10/1,000 words
- Grammar & punctuation checks without in-depth feedback
Copyediting: $0.04/word = $40/1,000 words
- Stylistic revisions for improved readability with minimal content feedback
Editing: $0.07/word = $70/1,000 words
- In-depth feedback on the content, including story arcs, themes, characters, and world-building
Sensitivity reading: $0.10/word = $100/1,000 words
- In-depth feedback on disability representation, including language, stereotypes, and authenticity

Fun fact: photography is a liberating creative hobby for me!

I offer photoshoots throughout the year for informal special occasions. My rates are very low without formal training and photoshop experience. This can be a great accommodation for low-income/marginalized individuals, couples, and families seeking to preserve their memories with raw photos.
